Key Deliverables:

Kingdom LAS executed a multi-faceted strategy. They rigorously cracked down on littering, fly-tipping, and unlawful business waste disposal. They also addressed lower-level offences reported by the public, particularly within designated Public Space Protection Order (PSPO) areas. Collaborating with law enforcement, they curbed antisocial behaviours like street racing, loud disturbances, and drug use.

Results Achieved:

The implementation of watch cameras in hot spot areas yielded immediate results. Within a week of installation, fly-tipping ceased entirely in New Barn. The concerted efforts led to a decline in antisocial behaviours, fostering a more welcoming atmosphere in the town centre. Statistically, there was a significant drop in reported offences related to fly-tipping and antisocial behaviour since Kingdom LAS took charge. Between Kingdom LAS and the local police force, over 70 Fixed Penalty Notices were issued. The cameras helped to eradicate this dangerous activity from this area, with a 99% reduction in complaints relating to car cruising.
